very cool, it's favorite material for sure, and I am wondering how you got it so bright, was it manipulated at all? Did you open the shutter longer?...

Very beautiful, eerie B/W. Like ~lled, I'm also curious as to how you achieved/produced the effect of the washed-out background and soft-focus, whether through manual-manipulation during capture or through PS post-effects. Either way, the shot has a narrative feel to it that I like, as though it should precede a chapter following one or more characters along some vague journey in a novel. The blurry edges contrasted against the sharper ribbed metal texture of the escalator steps provide an ambiguous reality that make the mystery of the photo's occasion more provocative to me.

Nice work.

Took me a couple of seconds to realize what I was looking at. Very interesting composition I must say. I didn't get that he was going down the escalator and that there was a wall reflection to his right until I really looked a second time and thought it through. By itself, you can frame it in your mind in so many ways. you really have to ask yourself "What am I looking at?" "what does this photographer want to tell me? What does he want to say?"

I think the blown out/over exposure use here is excelent. It's a tough thing to pull off. Sometimes it can seem like way to much. But I really think it works here.

Nice stuff...can't wait to see more!
